Family Vision Center - Rochester

I was visiting from out of town when I had developed a corneal ulcer before I left. Dr. Rubinrott was able to fit me in the same day, and she and her staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I’m very grateful for the excellent care I received.

Nice, clean office with friendly staff! Dr. Guy was fantastic with my kids ( ages 5 and 2.5) and not many people in the area see kids that age , so that says alot. He went above and beyond so I will definitely be back.

I truly enjoy the providers and staff at Roberts Eye Care in Sydney. I used to go to Vestal but the office was rather chaotic and a little out of the way for me (although staff and providers amazing at both locations).

Wonderful service! The staff are very kind, and while I'm not entirely aware of individual names, I felt welcomed and comfortable. In comparison, the previous optometrist I had went to was difficult to set an appointment with. But I was able to quickly set up an appointment scheduled a week after I had contacted the staff here. Definitely a quality optometrist location.

I walked in for my first time with a prescription for my toddler and said toddler this afternoon. The staff was beyond patient with my tiny terror. I was surprised that an actual optometrist was assisting me with finding frames versus a sales person. Totally upfront and transparent about pricing. It was just everything you need but don’t ever expect from medical professionals/facilities anymore. I swear even the other customers were super nice. Great experience.

We had a great experience with them. From making sure our vision insurance covers their services, to picking out frames. They make the process go as smoothly as possible. Me and my husband found frames that we both liked because they had a bunch of options- from classic styles to new and trendy ones.

Love the doctors at Buenau's! They give me such confidence. They are knowledgeable, thorough, informative and empathetic. And I appreciate the machine they use that avoids having to get my eyes dilated.

This morning I called because I was having some vision issues. They immediately fit me into the schedule for that day! Dr Burtch was thorough and explained everything to me. He was very understanding and helped lessen my worry. The front desk person was most helpful and pleasant. Everyone in the office seemed very professional and upbeat. I would definitely recommend this practice to everyone! They also have a great selection of frames which I will explore on my next visit in a few weeks.

This is the kindest most helpful staff. They went above and beyond to help us. We are traveling and my daughter lost her contact lenses and they provided us a solution. Very nice! Comfortable. The dr listened to everything I mentioned . It was overall a pleasant experience and I would recommend to anyone. I plan to stay with them as long as I can. Front desk is also so helpful and very easy to talk to.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now. The staff is always professional and friendly. The doctor always makes sure that I’m doing well and that all necessary exams are performed before I leave. I get my glasses there as well and they always seem to be ready fairly quickly. If you need an eye exam or glasses, I truly recommend this place.

Found this place through a Gemini chat while looking for an Ortho-K consultation. I already had a regular spot for annual exams, but the idea of Ortho-K intrigued me enough to check it out. Booking was easy — they have a simple online form. I arrived early for my 8 AM appointment, and honestly, having appointment slots from 8 to 5 is a huge convenience — easy to fit in before or after work. The location is on the northern edge of Midtown, well-served by multiple subway lines. Check-in was smooth both times, no real wait. I saw Dr. Du, who was professional and friendly, and thorough in answering my questions. Turns out I wasn't a candidate for Ortho-K due to my prescription and astigmatism, but she explained why clearly and walked me through other options — appreciated that. The biggest standout is how tech-forward this place is compared to other optometrists I've been to. They run you through a series of exams on some genuinely impressive equipment, so you can tell they're serious about catching anything abnormal early. Didn't check out their glasses selection, so no read on the hardware side, but for the exam and overall office experience, this place is excellent. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for an eye doctor.

Dutchess Optometry provided an excellent first time experience for my 2 toddlers. The staff is very welcoming and Dr. Sheedy truly has amazing patience especially trying to get my girls to focus during their eye exam after being dilated. They even went above and beyond in getting a different pair of glasses for my youngest when the original pair we ordered did not work for my 2 year old. I highly highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Dutchess Optometry. My mom is 84 years old, and everyone was absolutely wonderful. Dr. Lappan was kind, thorough, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made her feel comfortable. Emily, the pretester, was so patient, Gina at the front desk was welcoming and helpful, and Jennifer was amazing when helping my mom pick out her glasses. Every single person treated her with such care, patience, and respect. It truly meant the world to us. Highly recommend!
